FINANCIAL CONTRIBUTION BY THE UNITED STATES TO THE IACHR

         On concluding its 116th regular session, the IACHR highlights the important financial contribution made by the Government of the United States of America.  These special funds will be earmarked for strengthening the work of the Inter-American Commission, including promotional activities and observation in areas such as freedom of expression and women’s rights in the hemisphere. 

          The IACHR wishes to express publicly its gratitude for the contribution, which is a concrete means of assisting in strengthening the inter-American human rights system.
